Our NEW 365 calendar opens up the world of caterpillars across ALL of eastern North America's varied landscapes, from the southern tip of Florida to the north coasts of Maine. This special EXPLORER'S edition highlights incredible caterpillars found in many unique locations … a new caterpillar and adventure every day!

Each week takes you to a new corner of Eastern North America, pairing a featured habitat with the caterpillars that define it. Weekend pages highlight the place, shown through old maps, postcards, or artwork, while weekdays spotlight caterpillars found there using The Caterpillar Lab’s own imagery. You’ll meet both habitat specialists and unexpected wanderers. This isn’t a “how to find caterpillars” manual—it’s a series of mini field trips that inspire a new way of exploring nature, with a few helpful tips woven in.

This calendar aims to transform the way you see every landscape—from a parking-lot edge to a national park. Our calendar takes you through 52 locations and 261 caterpillars!  You’ll meet the common, the rare, and even species documented for the very first time.

**Attention -- We offer our calendars as both a standard retail item and fundraising tool. Please pay close attention to your selected amount to avoid paying more than expected: choosing a higher price level is equivalent to adding a donation that goes directly towards supporting the educational, scientific, and artistic efforts of the Lab!

Your generosity fuels our efforts across New England and beyond, from fieldwork to education. For contributions beyond the “Evolution” level, please contact Sam Jaffe, Director of The Caterpillar Lab, at jaffe@thecaterpillarlab.org or 603-876-5057.

The Caterpillar Lab is a New Hampshire non-profit corporation recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as an I.R.C. Section 501(c)(3) Public Charity. Donations are tax deductible by the donor to the extent permitted by law (please subtract a twenty dollar amount from any deduction to cover the value of our calendar gift.)

Why Support The Caterpillar Lab?

The Caterpillar Lab is unlike anything else in environmental education. Using native caterpillars, we open people’s eyes to the wild world hidden in their own backyards—changing the way they see their “old familiar places” forever.

We blend art, science, and storytelling through exhibits, programs, media, and research, reaching tens of thousands in person and millions online. Every visit, every program, every image is designed to spark curiosity and inspire discovery.

We’re passionate, we’re unique, and our work is only possible because of supporters like you. Join us—your donation directly supports this one-of-a-kind mission.
