Our “Verdant Geometry” collection features twenty-one original designs showcasing Sam Jaffe’s photographic life-history plates of emerald caterpillars (Geometrinae) from across eastern North America. Each design highlights these sculptural larvae posed with their native host plants, revealing the delicate symmetry, coloration, and posture that make this group so distinctive.

This series is both beautiful and surprisingly informative — the full set of twenty-one cards doubles as a complete field guide to the emerald caterpillars of eastern North America - including a few species that have never bean published on before!
